Swedish defenseman Fredrik Claesson, who plays for Moscow’s Dynamo in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), has been added to the database of the Ukrainian website Myrotvorets. A profile with his name recently appeared on the site.
Claesson is accused of participating in events that glorify Russian military personnel, as well as “encroaching on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.” He is also alleged to have publicly supported Russia’s actions in the conflict in Ukraine.
The 33-year-old defenseman has been playing in the KHL since 2022, when he joined CSKA Moscow. He completed one season with Dynamo after moving to the club.
Myrotvorets was created in 2014 and is blocked in Russia by court order.
